A continuation of the label’s capsule collection, APAR’s debut edition cements the brand’s philosophy that clothing can be a form of sculpture for the body, for all genders.

Former styles have been transformed through the use of noble fabrics such as cashmere, Birdseye wool and silks. Newness comes in the adaptations of existing pieces.

Sharp tailoring and pinstripe shirting are a nod to the power-driven 80’s workforce of global cities like New York, home to Mies van der Rohe’s masterpiece, the Seagram Building. A symbol of power, confidence and human endeavour. Unapologetic in its simplicity and elegance - values that align with APAR’s own.

The city also conjures up notions of traditional gender roles and of how “masculine” silhouettes were often adopted by women. APAR pays tribute to this act by subverting it. Draped dresses and silky tops juxtapose the sartorial elements in the collection.
